duck

I just came back from babysitting my lovely children. Sarah is walking (no wait - running, and then tripping and whacking her face off the ground) now and talks a little. How exciting! She thinks everything is a duck, and every animal says quack or tweet tweet. Ohhh assimilating children who haven't yet accomodated are precious! Loogey was watching tv, and a breakdancing show came on. He then showed me his insane moves, and informed me that his breakin' name is Bat-Lucas. You know, like Batman. Except way better. I am still convinced that four and five year olds are the coolest people on the face of the earth.

Today was an interesting day. Pointless classes (although, I did get some quality CYF logo drawing done in stats). Took the ladies grocery shopping before last class. Nicky and I went in search of a craft store. We ended up in Zellars, and I got me some mighty fine knitting needles and yarn. I'm really excited. I tried "practicing" tonight, but the old yarn I used was all fally-aparty. Didn't work too well. After Friday night, I'll be pro. Just you wait.

I've been trying to figure out why I insist on staying up late all the time when I am always so dreadfully tired. I love to sleep, yet intentionally deprive myself of the luxery. I don't get me sometimes.

I have a sex midterm on Monday. I need to read the textbook because I have put it off for far too long. It's unavoidable at this point. By Sunday, I should know many a graphic sex fact, even more than I know already (middle finger to elbow, eh?).

I'm out of things to write about. How rare. Let us savour this moment.
